Hayrides at the Hagley Museum

On Saturdays in October, families can take a hayride along the Brandywine to experience the beautiful fall foliage in the Powder Yard. Enjoy live bluegrass music, sip apple cider, and make kid-friendly fall crafts. Make an extra craft to raise the spirits of a child at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. New crafts are offered each week and the bands change regularly, so come back every week! While you’re visiting, don’t forget to see the roll mill in action, visit the nineteenth-century machine shop and steam engine, and explore Workers’ Hill. Stay all day and stop for lunch at the Belin House Organic Café. For more information on Hayrides at Hagley visit www.hagley.org or click here.
