Take part in a local event this weekend! The BVA’s Annual Brandywine Polar Plunge is taking place this weekend, Saturday February 9th! Experience the Brandywine Creek in a whole new way. Whether you dip a toe in or take the full plunge you are welcome to make a splash! In order to participate in the event you can pre-register online or register on the day of the event. The Brandywine Polar Plunge event is hosted by the BVA to support their efforts to protect and conserve the natural resources of the Brandywine Valley. Since 2008, over 750 people have taken the plunge to raise nearly $56,000 to protect and conserve our region’s natural resources. As your leader in local watershed conservation & education, BVA offers programs for all ages and conducts environmental studies and projects to promote the restoration, preservation, conservation and enjoyment of our region’s natural resources.
