Punxsutawney Phil has predicted that spring will come early this year!  Punxsutawney Phil emerged just after dawn on Groundhog Day to make his 125th annual weather forecast in front of a small crowd in Pennsylvania who braved muddy, icy conditions to hear his handlers reveal that he had not seen his shadow. Just how good is Phil?  Well Phil has seen his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter 99 of 115 times, But when Phil’s yearly Feb. 2 predictions are compared with historical records for Punxsutawney, Pa., it turns out the rodent weatherman was right only about 39% of the time.  We will have to wait and see if Phil is right this year!  Groundhog Day 2011 report brought to you by Kimberley Vassal Insurance Services. Make it a great day!
